The Conference on BIPOC Game Studies (C-BIPOC) is a platform dedicated to exploring the intersection of gaming culture, technology, and the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities worldwide.
We bring together scholars, developers, designers, educators, students, and practitioners to share research, build community, and advance critical perspectives in game studies.
January 14–15, 2027 — submissions will open in May 2026. The conference brings together researchers, practitioners, and community members for two days of panels, papers, and game showcases.
The 2025 conference brought together researchers, game designers, educators, and practitioners at The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York for three days of scholarship, game showcases, and community building.
