2027 Student Track Submissions

The Conference on BIPOC Game Studies invites forward-thinking undergraduate and graduate students to submit their research, critical essays, and creative projects to the Student Track.

This track is a strictly limited opportunity dedicated exclusively to showcasing strong, innovative student work from undergraduate through PhD candidates

We are looking for emerging scholar's work that pushes the boundaries of how we understand the intersection of gaming culture, technology, and the lived experiences of Asian American, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, Pacific Islander and other People of Color communities worldwide.

Why Apply?

Because space in the student track is strictly limited, submissions will undergo a rigorous selection process. Accepted students will have the unique opportunity to present their work alongside leading academics, game developers, and industry professionals, gaining invaluable exposure and feedback from experts in the field.

The conference will offer a designated student track to support emerging scholars and industry researchers. The review and documentation process fro student submissions is distinct from the main conference and is designed to offer support for developing scholars, creatives, and their work.
